Better Generation Solutions recently attended the CEIC Wales annual cohort catch-up, providing an opportunity to reconnect with peers and reflect on progress across the circular economy community in Wales.
The event brought together members from across all cohorts, who shared insights into how circular economy principles are being embedded within their respective organisations. The discussion highlighted the breadth of activity underway across sectors and the leadership role being taken by cohort members in driving practical change.
The programme also featured a keynote contribution from Louise Whitaker of Virgin Media, who outlined the organisation’s work to increase circular economy outcomes within the digital sector. Her closing reflection — that “everyone’s job just got more important” — resonated strongly in the context of ongoing global economic and environmental pressures.
The CEIC Wales programme continues to demonstrate the value of peer networks in supporting leadership, collaboration and system-level change. Better Generation Solutions remains a strong advocate for initiatives that connect organisations, develop leadership capability and accelerate progress towards a more sustainable and resilient economy.
