Better Generation Solutions is pleased to share that its CEO delivered a guest lecture to the 2025/26 MSc cohort at Cardiff University’s School of Chemistry, titled Beyond the Reaction: Chemistry’s Role in a Circular and Sustainable World.

The session explored how chemistry connects to wider sustainability and circular economy agendas. It examined the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and considered how practical frameworks such as ReSOLVE can be applied to introduce greater circularity into scientific processes, operational practices and decision-making.

The lecture encouraged postgraduate students to situate their disciplinary expertise within broader societal, environmental and economic contexts, and to reflect on how their future careers can contribute to more sustainable systems and long-term value creation.

The session formed part of Better Generation Solutions’ ongoing commitment to knowledge exchange, education and community engagement. The company extends its thanks to Cardiff University’s School of Chemistry for the invitation and the opportunity to engage with the next generation of chemists on these important themes.
